Grilled Peach Salad
And now for something completely different for your weekend barbecue ... how about a grilled peach salad? I love grilling fresh fruits like peach, pineapple, cantaloupe and watermelon to get that sweet, smoky, caramelized flavor. If you've never tried it before, you're in for a treat.
Here's a recipe that I adapted from La Phemme Phoodie. The salad is marvelous with a 2015 Le Rusé Renard IGP Côtes de Gascogne White Wine Blend.

Ingredients
1/2 cup honey
1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
4 ripe peaches, sliced into quarters
6 ounces mixed greens
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
Directions
1. In a small bowl, combine the honey and balsamic vinegar, mix well, and set aside.
2. On a heated grill set to medium-low heat, place the peach slices flat side down, and cook until tender and grill marks appear, about 5 minutes. Repeat on the opposite side. Remove the peaches from the grill, and brush with the honey-balsamic glaze.
3. Divide the mixed greens among four bowls, add the peaches, and top with feta. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
