There are many things that go well with wine, and reading has got to be one of the best. But what if you're in the mood for a glass and don't have a good book on hand?
The Italian wine company Matteo Correggia is one step ahead of you. It got together with marketing company Reverse Innovation to produce a series of three wine bottles with matching stories, called Librottiglia. Each short story was written just for its bottle, and appears as a booklet/label, tied up with string.
It's got to be one of the greatest pairings since peanut butter and jelly.
"I love everything that's old -- old friends, old times, old manners, old books, old wine." --Oliver Goldsmith
Unfortunately, it's a little difficult to get your hands on these wines -- they're only available in Italy (the books are in Italian), and they're all sold out, of course. But the company says that more will be in stock soon.
What would you want to read on your wine bottle?
