The Rise of the Wine Truck

Move over food trucks and ice cream trucks, there's a new mobile goody service in town. Wine trucks (or mobile wine bars, if you want to be classy) are gaining popularity all around the country, as wine lovers embrace the concept of vino on wheels. Here's a peek at some of the wine trucks rolling into a neighborhood near you.

The Wine Wagen
A husband-and-wife team are behind this central Iowa mobile wine bar, launched just this summer. The truck is a repurposed 1968 Volkswagen bus, and the menu includes six whites, six reds, and seasonal options such as sparklers and reserve wines.

Union Wine Co. Tasting Truck
This Oregon wine company, known for its canned wines, travels across the country in a ready-to-serve 1976 Citroën H van. "Canbassadors" bring Union's wine from coast to coast, in an effort to expose more people to Oregon wine.
